Vitamin A can be found in leafy green vegetables (kale, spinach, broccoli), orange and yellow vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and other winter squash, summer squash), tomatoes, red bell peppers, cantaloup, mango, beef liver, fish oils, milk, and eggs.

Nutrient Form

We use vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, which is found naturally in plant foods. Other multivitamins often use vitamin A in the form of retinol or retinyl esters, which can be toxic at high levels.
